The longer version:

Welcome! My name is Crystal, and I am fascinated by human behavior, neuropsychology and transpersonal psychology. I find counseling to be an incredibly rewarding career and am passionate about working with my clients. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family, exploring nature, and engaging in spiritual and artistic pursuits.

I am a perpetual student of life, and earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health from the University of Colorado Denver, and my MS in Counseling Studies from Capella University. I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

Upon graduating with my BA, I landed my first job in the field as a mental health worker in a residential treatment facility, at which time I realized just how imperative it would be for me to attend grad school.

Prior to completion of grad school, I worked as a counselor with college students, and moved on to work with adults in various outpatient settings before opening my private practice in 2020. I continue to fine-tune my trauma-focused specialty, and incorporate new techniques and approaches regularly.

Due to the prevalence and persistence of residual symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I have pursued trauma-informed, evidence-based training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. Learn more about EMDR @ https://www.emdria.org

I also integrated aspects of Internal Family Systems (IFS), Ego State Therapy (EST), Polyvagal Theory (PVT) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) in my counseling work.

Furthermore, I offer Life Coaching services to address the spiritual and energetic needs of the self-identified highly sensitive (HSP), empathic, and/or neurodivergent individual seeking a non-pathologizing pivot from traditional talk or trauma-focused therapy. Coaching provides a transpersonal, synergistic opportunity to explore mindfulness, alignment, authenticity and higher purpose.
